Resize a photo to 70 KB
Pick your photo, crop it, and download a JPG that is 70 KB or less, at the exact width and height your form asks for. The tool tries quality levels until the file is as good as it can be without going over 70 KB.

Tips for 70 KB
- At 70 KB you can keep a passport-style size such as 35 × 45 mm at 300 DPI (413 × 531 px) in high quality.
- Set the DPI if the form asks for one; it is written into the file so print shops read it correctly.
- The tool keeps the best quality that fits, so there is no need to aim below the limit.
How to use it
- 1Enter the width and height your form asks for (pixels, or mm/cm/inch with DPI), or tap a common size.
- 2Set the maximum KB from the form, and a minimum if it has one.
- 3Choose your photo. Drag to place your face in the guide; pinch or use + and − to zoom.
- 4Check the result line, then press Download. The file is the exact size and never over the limit.
Questions
Will the file be exactly 70 KB?
It will be at or under 70 KB, as close to it as the image allows. We count 70 KB as 70,000 bytes, which passes whether the form counts a KB as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes.
My photo is still too big at 70 KB. What can I do?
Lower the pixel size or crop tighter. If the form gives a pixel size, use exactly that; extra pixels only cost bytes.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizing runs in your browser on your phone or computer. Your photo never leaves your device, and nothing is saved.
