Tips for 50 KB
- Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, then take the photo in daylight without a shadow over the page.
- The cleanup turns the paper pure white and the ink dark, which makes a signature tiny: 50 KB is plenty.
- If thin strokes disappear, move the “Ink threshold” slider right; if the paper looks grey or dotted, move it left.
How to use it
- 1Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper and take a photo of it in daylight.
- 2Switch to Signature, enter the size and maximum KB from your form.
- 3Choose the photo. The ink is found and trimmed automatically; adjust the threshold if strokes look thin.
- 4Download the clean, white-background signature.
Questions
Why does my signature photo look grey?
Phone cameras see white paper as grey, especially indoors. The cleanup finds the line between ink and paper and makes the paper pure white.
Can a signature really fit in 50 KB?
Yes. A clean black-on-white signature at a few hundred pixels wide is usually only a few KB, well under 50 KB.
JPG or PNG?
Most forms want JPG. If yours accepts PNG, PNG keeps the edges of the strokes crisp. The tool still checks the KB limit either way.
